§ 1 General Provisions

1. This Regulation specifies detailed rules for the recruitment process of Participants for the project aimed at enhancing their professional qualifications in the field of finance. It also outlines the rules of participation in the project.

2. The recruitment of candidates for the project is conducted by the Mamo Pracuj Foundation, with its registered office at ul. Zamknięta 10, Suite 1.5, 30-554 Kraków, Poland.

3. The project aims to prepare 20 participants to enhance their career opportunities in the financial sector through a dedicated course, the development of soft skills through independent work supported by experts during workshops and online/offline meetings, and building self-confidence and awareness of their potential through the Gallup Strengths test (with discussions in small groups). The project will be implemented from March to July 2025.

4. Participants, as mentioned in paragraph 3 above, will receive comprehensive support, including:

a) Participation in the online financial course “Empower Your Career in Finance” prepared by CFA Society Poland,
b) Access to and completion of the Mamo Pracuj Foundation’s course “Dare to Be Yourself!” (online),
c) Two group online workshops on effective job search tools,
d) Free completion of the Gallup Strengths Test and a follow-up discussion in the form of a small group online workshop,
e) Mentoring support for interested participants (approximately 6 hours),
f) A closed project group on Facebook.

5. The total planned duration of activities and group work for the participants mentioned in paragraph 3 above is 4 months.

6. Participation will also require the participant’s individual effort and completion of assignments given during the project.

7. Topics covered in the “Empower Your Career in Finance” course (48 hours):

Intermediate MS-Excel – 8h

8. A crucial part of the program is building a community that will continue to support each other after the project’s completion through the Facebook platform.

9. The project will include three forms of work:

a) Group online meetings (via Zoom),
b) Online sessions of the “Empower Your Career in Finance” course,
c) Individual work.

10. Participation in these support forms will increase participants’ competitiveness in the job market and their chances of finding employment in the finance sector. The planned activities will strengthen their competencies and specialized knowledge in finance. Beneficiaries of the program will also gain knowledge about the job market, effective job search techniques, and develop soft skills under the guidance of industry specialists.

11. This project will be implemented from March 4, 2025, to July 1, 2025.

§ 2 Project Participants

1. The project is aimed at Polish citizens and women of other nationalities residing in Poland who have professional experience in finance (with a degree in finance, economics, or law) or are students (in their final years of studies – graduating in 2025 or 2026) in finance-related fields (finance, economics, law).

2. Women eligible to participate in the project are those who:

  • Wish to broaden their knowledge of finance but already have some foundational understanding,
  • Have the technical means to participate in online meetings,
  • Commit to attending in-person meetings in Kraków on March 4, 2025, and July 1, 2025,
  • Are willing to engage in the project and participate in the “Empower Your Career in Finance” course from March to July 2025 (meetings will take place on weekends – Saturday and Sunday – for up to 8 hours per day) and complete individual assignments,
  • Can communicate effectively in English at a minimum B2 level,
  • Possess strong motivation and self-discipline,
  • Envision their future career in the international banking and finance sector and corporate culture.

§ 3 Recruitment Process

1. Recruitment for the project will take place before the training phase. The process will consist of three stages: submission via an application form, a knowledge test, and an interview (partially in English).

2. Applications must be submitted electronically by completing the recruitment form, which is Annex 1 to this Regulation. Submission of the form constitutes acceptance of this Regulation and an obligation to comply with its provisions.

3. The second stage of recruitment will be available to selected candidates after reviewing applications. It will involve an online interview with a representative from the Mamo Pracuj Foundation, State Street Global Advisors Poland, or CFA Society Poland.

4. Recruitment forms will be accepted from February 5, 2025, to February 14, 2025, until 11:59 PM (deadlines may be shortened or extended if decided by the organizers, who will inform about any changes through official Mamo Pracuj Foundation channels, such as Facebook and LinkedIn). Interviews will be conducted from February 10, 2025, to February 21, 2025. Participants will be informed about their qualification status by February 24, 2025.

5. Dates are subject to change in case of a high volume of applications. Updates will be available on the Foundation’s social media platforms and website.

6. Training workshops and participant support for this project edition will be conducted from March to July 2025.

7. Recruitment forms submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

8. In case of more applications than available slots, participation will be determined based on:

a) Evaluation of the application form, including engagement and motivation to participate in the project,
b) Result of the interview,
c) English language proficiency and knowledge of finance-related topics.

9. The Foundation reserves the right to make final participant selection decisions, which are not subject to appeal.

10. The Foundation reserves the right to interview only selected candidates.

11. Candidates who meet all requirements and successfully complete the interview but are not selected due to limited spots will be placed on a reserve list. If a selected participant withdraws, candidates from the reserve list will have priority in joining the project group.

12. Participants will be notified of their qualification status via email and/or phone.

13. A participant’s spot in the project will be forfeited if they fail to respond to two contact attempts within three days.

14. Selected participants will sign participation agreements (Annex 2 to this Regulation).

§ 4 Participants’ Obligations

1. Participants are required to actively participate in workshops, online and offline meetings, courses, program evaluation, and individual assignments.

2. To complete the project and receive a certificate of participation, participants must meet the following attendance requirements: at least 80% attendance at online sessions (webinars + Gallup workshop), 90% attendance in the “Empower Your Career in Finance” course, attendance at both in-person meetings (March 4, 2025, and July 1, 2025), and completion of the “Dare to Be Yourself!” course. Attendance will be verified by session leaders, and the information will be reported to the Foundation.

3. In cases of non-compliance with the rules or agreements, unexcused absences from sessions, meetings, and courses (exceeding 20% or 10%, respectively), failure to complete the program, or lack of contact, the participant may be charged with costs incurred by the Foundation for their participation, under terms individually agreed upon with the participant, including reimbursement of all such costs. By submitting the application form and accepting this Regulation, the participant acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

4. Participants who are unable to participate in the project due to unforeseen circumstances must notify the Foundation’s office (Mamo Pracuj Foundation) by phone, in person, or via email at least seven calendar days before the course begins.

5. The Organizer (Mamo Pracuj Foundation) allows for justified absences due to illness or significant unforeseen circumstances. Justification requires notification via phone or email before the sessions, meetings, or consultations. Failure to provide justification will result in the absence being marked as unexcused.

§ 5 Organizer’s Obligations

1. The Organizer ensures free participation in workshops, meetings, and online courses for participants.

2. The Organizer provides additional materials in electronic format.

3. The Organizer will make every effort to organize the project at the highest substantive and logistical level.

4. The Organizer will inform participants of any organizational changes affecting the project.

§ 6 Location and Dates of Workshops and Meetings

1. Online thematic workshops will be held on dates determined by the organizers, on weekdays. The “Empower Your Career in Finance” online course will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from March through June (inclusive). Access to the course will be provided to participants after signing the agreement. Other sessions and activities will be completed at participants’ preferred times.

2. Online meetings will be held via Zoom, Skype, or social media platforms, according to participants’ preferences, during hours allowing interaction between participants and the facilitator.

3. Offline meetings will take place on March 4, 2025 (inauguration), and July 1, 2025 (conclusion), in Kraków.

§7 Processing of Personal Data

1. Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter: „GDPR”), we inform you that:

2. The controller of the personal data of the Project Participant is the Mamo Pracuj Foundation, ul. Zamknięta 10/lok 1.5, Kraków (hereinafter: „Foundation”), as well as State Street Global Advisors Poland – State Street BIG office, Generała Bohdana Zielińskiego 3, 30-320 Kraków, and CFA Society Poland, ul. Komandorska 118/120, 53-345 Wrocław (hereinafter: „Co-organizers”).

3. The Foundation has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via email: rodo@mamopracuj.pl.

4. The purpose of processing the personal data of the Participant by the Foundation is to implement the Fearless Together 2.0 Project.

5. Providing personal data by the Participant is voluntary (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), but necessary to participate in the Project.

6. The Participant has the right to request from the Foundation and the Co-organizers access to their personal data, its rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, as well as the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.

7. The Participant has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent.

8. Personal data of the Participants will not be processed by the Foundation and the Co-organizers after the conclusion of the Project.

9. The Participant has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

§8 Final Provisions

1. During the workshops, photographic and/or video documentation will be made involving the Participants. Therefore, by joining the Project, the Participant agrees to the publication of their image.

2. Granting consent means that photographs, videos, or recordings made during the workshops may be published on websites, press materials, promotional materials, and social media in the context of the above-mentioned event. This consent is granted irrevocably and free of charge.

3. Granting consent is voluntary but necessary to participate in the Project.

4. The Mamo Pracuj Foundation reserves the right to make changes to the regulations. Participants will be notified of any changes via email.
